We are the champions of Primorsky Krai!

On April 30, the final game of the Primorsky Territory Basketball Championship among men's teams was held in the city of Bolshoy Kamen. Recall that the Dalrybvtuz team, which represented the city of Vladivostok in the tournament, won all 12 matches of the two-round tournament and confidently outplayed rivals from Ussuriysk on the way to the final. The TOR team from Bolshoy Kamen proved to be stronger than its rivals from Artyom in the semi-finals and thereby gained the right to hold the final at the home site of the Zvezda sports complex. The final meeting with Dalrybvtuz, which is the current champion of the regional tournament of the Interregional Amateur Basketball League, became a real event for the city of Bolshoy Kamen and attracted many fans to the stands, including both adults and schoolchildren, who actively supported their team throughout the meeting. I would especially like to note the girls from the cheerleading group, who went to the floor twice.

The game itself began with double-edged attacks. None of the teams in the first quarter was able to leave the gap. Therefore, it is quite logical that the first ten-minute period ended with a draw - 15:15. In the second quarter, the hosts made an attempt to break away, in one of the segments they provided an advantage of five points. But our basketball players, having withstood this onslaught, responded with a jerk in the final minutes of the first half of the game and went to the break with an advantage of seven points - 36:29. The second half of the game was already under the dictation of the Dalryvtruz team. Our basketball players won the third quarter with a difference of 10 points - 22:12, and in the final they literally defeated their opponents 19:5. The final score of 77:46 speaks of the unconditional victory of the wards of coach Artur Kudinov, each of whom made a significant contribution to the final victory and, no doubt, deserved the words of gratitude expressed to them by the rector of Dalrybvtuz Oleg Shcheka, who was present at the meeting and took part in the awards ceremony.
