Distance learning courses for foreign students

The temporary introduction of distance learning has obliged universities to change the format of education and switch to online platforms.

Thus, yesterday, the teacher of the Russian as a foreign language Department Svetlana Evtushenko conducted classes with foreign students from Egypt and South Korea in online-format using Zoom platform. It should be noted that some of the students have already arrived to the university, while others are being taught in distance learning format.

The students of the course «Russian as a foreign language» note that the most comfortable conditions for learning and training have been created for them.
“I came to Vladivostok in January. I like Russia and people here. I started the Russian language course at FESTFU and I am ready to study hard to achieve my goal. My dream is to enter a Medical university, so now I am diligently learning Russian. My favorite teacher Svetlana is a very kind and good person. I like to study at FESTFU”, - said Abdelrahman Azuz Sabri Shousha, a student of the International Institute.

The administration of the Institute notes that, today the University has created necessary conditions to bring together students from different geographical locations and to minimize the possible negative consequences of the lack of face-to-face interaction.
