FESTFU stands for a healthy lifestyle

Promoting a healthy lifestyle is a popular trend and many universities support it.

Modern students’ lifestyle is inactive, so their mainstreaming into sports is one of the main tasks of universities.

FESTFU also focuses on the physical training of young people. Free clubs and sections of volleyball, basketball, athletics, swimming, athletic gymnastics, rowing and boxing are open for students of the university and lyceum. Classes are held by titled coaches.

Under their leadership students participate in competitions of city, regional, international level, where they honorably represent the university.

Not so long ago FESTFU’s students joined the Russian national team in rowing on the dragon boats. Competitions were held in China. The team consisted of 28 people, among them there were teachers from FESTFU: Candidates of sciences, lecturers and students of the university.

Earlier the Russian team won the gold at the first World Rowing Championships on Dragon boats on ice.
