Foreign Students’ Farewell Concert

Yesterday a Gala Concert dedicated to the foreign students’ farewell with FESTFU took place at the students club “Pallada.”

Students’ farewell performance is always an exciting event. Therefore, representatives of the university administration, lecturers of the International Institute, as well as representatives of the Northeastern Agricultural University (Harbin, China) gathered together in the students club "Pallada" to support graduates.

Vice President for strategic development and informatization Pavel Pastukhov addressed the graduates with words of gratitude. He welcomed guests and participants and noted that the event was both joyful and sad at the same time. Pavel Olegovich also wished the students to successfully apply the knowledge gained in FESTFU and visit their own alma mater again. Further the guest of honor - Vice-President of the North-Eastern Agricultural University Mr. Li Weikai also congratulated the graduates, pointing out the prestige of studying in FESTFU. In addition, Mr. Li Weikai noted that the goal of teaching students from China is to strengthen Russian-Chinese relations.

In conclusion Svetlana Katkova, Director of the International Institute, struggling to keep back her tears, spoke about interaction with foreign students, noting their hard work and, as a result, excellent grades based on learning outcomes.

After the words of support and gratitude given by the guests of the festive evening, graduates performed their concert program on the stage. Students from China demonstrated an unforgettable show of songs, dances and sketches which left nobody indifferent.
